CREATIVE SEMESTER GAP YEAR
Before you apply:
Please read carefully our Eligibility Criteria and Code of Conduct carefully. These are the rules and ethos that guide our program which you will be expected to uphold. We also encourage you to look through our Participant Handbook which outlines how we run our program.
To apply, you will need a 500-word personal statement telling us a little about yourself, why you would like to attend your chosen program and what you hope to get out of the program. This can be written or video taped.
Application
Complete the GAP YEAR APPLICATION FOUND HERE. You can attach your personal statement and supporting materials in the online application form.
Scholarship Information
We have a range of scholarships available for our programs. Please read our scholarship information HERE before you apply for a scholarship.
Acceptance/Deposit
Your application will be reviewed, and you should hear from us in 7-10 days to schedule a zoom interview for both you and your parents. After your zoom interview, you will receive a decision regarding your application and offering you a place on the program via an Acceptance Letter. A $2500 deposit will then be due to secure your space.
Payment Deadlines
Final payment is due July 1st for Autumn Session and Nov 1st for Winter Session. If you apply after this deadline, payment in full will be due when you are accepted into the program.
Withdrawal/Refunds
You may withdraw up to the final payment deadline and receive a refund minus a $500 administrative fee. After the final payment deadline there are no refunds.
Participant Handbook
An updated copy of our Participant Handbook will be sent to you about 3 months before your program start date. This includes packing lists, arrival day procedures, staff contacts, and other information you will need to plan your trip.
Pre-program Zoom Meet Ups
There are two pre-program zoom meet ups for all parents and participants, one 6 weeks before arrival and one pre-departure meeting 2 weeks before arrival. These are an opportunity for you and your parents to ask questions, meet us and meet other program participants.

You may withdraw up to the tuition due date and receive a refund minus a $250 administrative fee. You may withdraw between April 1st and May 1st and receive your full tuition minus your $1000 deposit. There are no refunds after May 1st.
