Generate is a Performing and Visual arts program dedicated to making and premiering original work.
Make and premiere original work on this high-energy gathering of like-minded creatives.
Now in it's second summer, the program welcomes all artistic disciplines including Theatre, Film, Dance, Music, Art and Design. Attend daily workshops as you create your own work and collaborate with artists across the disciplines. Your song might be featured in the dance piece, your artwork might promote a film, and along the way you’ll be mentored by professional artists who want to share their experience and love of creating with you. Expand your skills, build your portfolio or audition repertoire and meet artists from across the country at Generate/2021.
Learn from professional artists, connect with like-minded creatives and premiere your work at our Generate Festival.
How the program is structured:
Mornings 9 - 12.30: Workshops and Classes
From Life Drawing to Tap Dance and Lighting Design to Music Composition, each morning offers workshops for every interest and you are welcome to cross disciplines and learn something new.
Afternoons 1.30 - 5.30: Create in your chosen discipline
Afternoons will be spent in studio and rehearsal time collaborating with your faculty mentors and fellow artists as you move your projects from concept to completion. You’ll be encouraged to play, experiment and push your own boundaries as you explore what you want to create for our Generate Festival.
